For the past 4 months IT Kidz of Africa have been storing the donated computers in the hallway of a house in Bournemouth. Due to the number of donations we have kindly received storing these computers in a house became a health and safety issue.
After contacting several storage companies in Bournemouth and Poole,
LOK’nSTORE promptly responded
with a positive reaction. They have donated a 50 sqft storage room.
We also got a positive response form Spacemakers in Bournemouth, who donated a bigger space of 60sqft meaning we are now able to accept even more computer donations towards our projects in Africa.
Since Matthew and Billie's visit to IT Schools Africa a partnership between the two charity organisations has been formed. IT Schools Africa will assist us in further projects with regard to computer refurbishment and shippping.
The BBC have posted a story on their BBC Dorset website about our project.

Billie and Matthew had their first radio interview on BBC Radio Solent today at 10:30am. The interview went very well. You can check out some pictures of the interview in our gallery or simply click here.
